Delicious Santiago.

Santiago of Chile has an old architecture surrounded by modern buildings. In the universities neighborhood of Republic street, there is mansions of century XIX.

These were constructed by the old tycoons of the saltpeter and are of French style in their majority, though there are also norman constructions. Many are today unoccupied, although good part is occupied by universities.

In the Bohemian neighborhood of Recoleta one is The Chascona, one of the residences of the poet Pablo Neruda and a palace constructed for the painter Camilo Moris, today destined to tenancy.

They are old delights for stroll, before of a good wine in the favorite armchair.
